How to: Print a two-sided document.
Solution:
If the printer supports duplex (double-sided) printing, set up the printer driver through the Print dialog box. If the printer does not support duplex, print the odd pages of the document, then reinsert the paper into the printer tray and print the even pages on the back of the output.
1) If the printer supports duplex printing (check printer documentation if unsure), do the following:
a) Set printing to duplex:
1] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Print...'. (The Print dialog box appears.)
2] Click 'Properties...'. (The Print Setup dialog box appears.)
3] Click 'More Options...'.
4] Select either the 'Long Edge' or 'Short Edge' radio button to designate how printouts should appear.
NOTE: The exact name of the selection will vary from printer to printer.
5] Click 'OK' twice. (The Print dialog box appears.)
6] Click 'OK' to print.
b) Return settings to normal printing:
1] Select 'Print...' from 'File' menu. (The Print dialog box appears.)
2] Click 'Properties...'. (The Print Setup dialog box appears.)
3] Click 'More Options...'.
4] Select the 'None' radio button.
NOTE: Exact name of selection will vary from printer to printer.
5] Click 'OK' twice.
6] Click 'Close'. (The Print dialog box appears.)
7] Click 'Cancel'.
2) If the printer does not support duplex printing, do the following:
